Refugee Learning Nest (the Nest) was established in March 2015 by seven members of the refugee community in Indonesia and with the support of Same Skies. The Nest is a community centre entirely run and managed by refugee volunteers.

The aim of the project is to improve the welfare of the refugee community through provision of various activities.

We help the refugee community through informal education for children, English classes and tailoring for women and sports for children and adults (football & Taekwondo). We welcome refugees from different backgrounds and cultures. It makes us happy to work with the children and we want to make them smile.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT TO KEEP OUR CHILDREN SMILING!

Please help us raise $4425 to run and manage the Nest for the next six months.

Your donation will allow us to pay for the rental costs of our centre and a ground for women and children to play sports, utilities, stationery, public transport costs for the volunteers and other running costs.

For more detail, you can download the budget HERE.

By supporting our campaign you will help us make the Nest sustainable and lasting.

When you donate, you will see Same Skies' name on the account. This is due to legal issues with PayPal but all donations will come directly to us!

Please click on the "I want to help" button above to make your donation.

Thank you very much for your support!
